Where is this CSS error?

CSS based dropped down menu works in all browsers but darn IE :(

The drop down menu design that we have works fine in ALL web browsers but that darn IE 
Can you please suggest what to do to get it to work also under darn IE.

Getting rid of weird whitespace in IE
My homepage loads fine in chrome and firefox but there is a large whitespace when loaded in IE. I don’t see where the problem is, can someone help me fix it? You can see the problem at http://glumbo.com (scroll down a bit)

Need a little CSS help moving some buttons around
Hey folks, let me first state that I am a designer, not a programmer. I do have a basic grasp of CSS, but I still need some help. Here’s what I am trying to do:
I have taken this example:http://flowplayer.org/tools/demos/scrollable/index.html
and trying to use a single large image to scroll through, rather than the 5 images shown in that example. As you can see, it works out nicely:http://www.ogmda.com/test_moh/
However, now I want to move those default scrollable buttons and place them on the image like so:http://www.ogmda.com/test_moh/images…oll_image2.jpg
Can someone help me write the CSS so it displays over the image like the above link, rather than the default?
I’ll customize the button graphics later, just need help with the placement for now.

Box with round corners – 4 divs ?
Hi all
I have this simple round cornered box, I have a div with a border to create the surrounding box and 4 divs inside to hold the 4 corners.
The corner images are placed in the corners but they seem to 1 px away from the corners so the lines don’t match up.
The box is a set dimension so I’m not sure if this the best way to do this.
Would it be better to have an image of the whole box that is a background image on the containing div, then arrange the text inside of it.

I am trying to create a nav bar, have almost got it working as i want, but cannot get the a:hover and active links working..

text wrapping anchor
I have an ol with a li inside and inside of that have an a element. There is a fixed width on the ol and li and in one case, the a element name requires it to wrap to the next line. The issue I am seeing is if I draw a box around the a element, it is either around the first line (when I use no display style or style it with inline-block or block) or the second line (when I style it inline), not both.
Since I am using a hover, I would like the hover to show up over both lines, not just the top or bottom.
The only styling on the li and ol is margin and padding. the styling on the a element is
{display:inline-block; margin: 0; padding: 0 0 3px 0; font-weight: bold; color: blue; border: 1px solid red;}
How can I get it to show the border around the whole element?

Which option is better ?
- One site made with a shopping cart (ex : all made inside Magento)
- One site made with a CMS + Cart (ex: WordPress + shopping cart plugin)
- Two sites, one for info and viewing item, a second one for buying.
I am starting to wonder which of these 3 is better ?
Lately I am starting to like the idea #3, where I would create a standard website with info on the company plus all the usual medias and stuff, and pages to show the products. Then have another plateform on a subdomain where the selling get done. Will it be better? I guess it would allow to change the selling part someday easier, like moving for Shoppify if needed or something like taht ?

Massive problem with JShop – not even fixing off a backup! :/

That is the location of the shop, it’s really strange as supposedly no one has touched it (i used to work for them and have since left but still give support).
The second strange thing is the admin works fine and I can successfully connect to the DB with the credentials in the config file.
The third strange thing is that I’ve re-copied most files, emptied the template cache and done everything else bar reinstalling and still the same issues arise?
Does anyone have any suggestions to help?
