Hi was wandering if there are any good sites to go to for symbols/graphics that can be used on logos
Hello,
i’m doing some interface design in photoshop – and have a (hopefully) simple question. how do i modify the length of rounded corner shapes (paths) and maintain the rounded corner ratio? i think i’ve been using illustrator too much recently, and forgot how to do it in photoshop!
the context: i’m using paths/shapes, created with the rounded corner tool for a fairly complex UI dashboard. Each path has some farily complex layer styles added to it – so i need to be able to change the length of the shape (a button), yet maintain its corner shapes when extending or contracting the shape!
whats the trick?
THANKS!!

Is there any way to control the way colors appear on different computers? For example, on my desktop, a site may have a grey-green background while the same site on my notebook shows a grey-blue background.
This can completely alter the “look” of the site.
Thanks

Hi,
look at this page.
login: fer
password: m
Note: after logging you are redirected to another page. Then click on the link i mention.
As you can see there is a typical icon to go to the first page of a paged list. It is a png image with transparency and it has its original size.As you can see also it is a bit aliased…
¿Is there anyway to avoid that aliasing?
Regards
Javi

I made this picture for you – http: //i41.tinypic.com/9r3vb5.jpg (There’s space between : and //, so delete it to see the pic)
So, we have a big circle and a small one that is inside of the big one. How do I delete everything on the small circle except the part that is in the big circle?

Hi
I want to know how the blue background image is made in this pic.
With the zoom and the way it seems to come not from a center point but from the whole width of the laptop.
usually when creating zoom effect it takes a circular shape, right? but here it is rectangular. how?
the pic is from www.laptops.toshiba.com
I was on vacation this week and have had the joy of taking this amazing Sunset at a Hill station . It is one of the best picture’s I have taken so far .
So what’s yours ? … can you beat mine ?

Rules :
1) Keep photoshop to the minimal . (ya I used it on this pic but not that much … ok ? )
2) Try keeping pics under 250 kb , 300 max .
3) It should be your own work . We all know about flickr and devian art
More details :
I didn’t take this with a professional camera , I used a not so expensive point and shoot . The picture had a lot of noise . I did use photoshop to increase exposure / contrast (which made the colors deeper) and to reduce noise . The sunset was kinda weird as there was fog , dark rainy clouds , smog and stuff . I am not a professional photographer , I’m just a casual hobbyist .Want to know anything else ask me
Hello Forum!
Anyone do any work with Maya? I have started playing with it and I find that it has tons of terms that only someone who has taken a class in it would know. I remember studio 3D had a nice drag and drop feature for where you want to put spot lights. I don’t see it in Maya.
And if I want to have the obect have a certain texture I have found the list of materials are seemingly presented in some sort of pseudo jargon or (Mayan?) almost another language.
